Entry Requirements

CPA PNG has a number of membership categories ranging from Student Membership to Certified Practicing Accountant. Before applying to join CPA PNG, please ensure you have all necessary documents to meet the entry requirements. This will help us to process your application quickly and get you started on the path to becoming a CPA.

You must have completed a diploma or degree from an approved tertiary institution in PNG. Becoming a member of CPA Papua New Guinea straight from a tertiary institution will give the status of :

- REGISTERED ACCOUNTING GRADUATE (degree majoring in accounting) or

- REGISTERED ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (diploma in accounting /business or degree in other business related disciplines other than accounting)
