CPA Australia International Partnership Program
CPA Australia and Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) through the CPA Australia International Partnership Program (CPAA IPP) is inviting applications from CPA PNG members to undertake the CPA Australia professional examinations over a four-month period from August to November 2008. Applicants are advised to take note of the following selection criteria.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance.
- CPA PNG qualified with an average of "B" grade in the CPA PNG examinations. As per analysis - 1.5 or above (note 2 is "B" average).
- Citizen of Papua New Guinea.
- Current leaders ("influencers") of policy/reform in the Accounting Profession.
- Involvement and contribution to CPA PNG - eg. National / Branch Executives, attendance in Conferences/CPEs.
- Good standing amongst colleagues and the business community.
- Aspiring mid-career professional.
- As salaries are not paid under the Scholarship, the current employer must be willing to release the applicant on pay or the applicant is willing to accept this fact as part of professional development.
